This year marks Ellie Black’s ninth appearance at the World Championships — an incredible accomplishment that speaks to her longevity, dedication, and unwavering commitment to Canadian gymnastics. In the balance beam final held on Saturday, October 25, Black finished 5th with a score of 13.600, reaffirming her place among the world’s best. Her routine — a blend of grace, precision, and confidence — impressed the judges and captivated the audience in Jakarta.

During the World Championships, Ellie Black also had the honor of receiving the Fair Play Award in person in Jakarta, which she had won at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
