Ottawa, ON — Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) proudly announces the successful conclusion of the 2024-2025 Youth National Competition Series, which included Regional (boulder-only) and National Championships in Boulder, Lead, and Speed. This year’s events saw record participation, outstanding performances, and an incredible sense of community from coast to coast.
From the regional qualifiers in Winnipeg and Halifax to the national stages in Surrey and Richmond, youth athletes from across Canada (and beyond) showcased their strength, passion, and resilience. The CEC extends its heartfelt congratulations to all participants, coaches, families, volunteers, and event staff for making this season one to remember.
We also offer our sincere thanks to our outstanding hosts who welcomed our climbing community with open arms and professionalism: Horizon Roc, The Hive Winnipeg, Seven Bays Climbing, The Hive Surrey, and the Richmond Olympic Oval. Your support and dedication were instrumental in delivering high-quality events that inspired athletes and fans alike.
Special thanks to our generous sponsors, the Government of Canada, Electrolit Canada and Okami Escalade, for their continued support of climbing in Canada.
