Climbing Escalade Canada Announces National Competition Calendars for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027

Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) is proud to unveil its National Competition Calendars for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 seasons. These carefully structured schedules are designed to foster peak athlete performance, support grassroots development and provincial growth, ensure consistency across disciplines, and provide clarity for training and preparation cycles.

In February 2025, CEC launched a national Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify host facilities for the next two competition seasons. We were thrilled to receive a number of high-quality applications from outstanding gyms across the country.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support and enthusiasm of the Canadian climbing community—your commitment makes these events possible. Congratulations and thank you to all the gyms selected to host events in the upcoming seasons.

What’s New for 2025-2026

CEC is implementing a strategic adjustment in event timing. Speed Nationals will now take place at the end of January, followed by Senior Boulder and Lead Nationals in mid-February. This shift establishes a clear high-performance competition window, allowing athletes to better structure their preparation and progression toward international competition.
