Class is Now in Session! Equestrian Canada Celebrates National Coaches Week with the Launch of the ECampus

Ottawa, ON, Sept. 21, 2020 – In celebration of National Coaches Week, Equestrian Canada (EC) is pleased to announce the launch of a new online learning platform and management system, ECampus, available through MyEC.

In addition to providing premier educational content for all equestrians, this exciting new resource will support the Provincial/Territorial Sport Organizations (PTSOs) in all aspects of Coach certification and management.

Industry-Leading Online Education
Numerous courses are available in the e-Learning and Training sections of the ECampus, with more coming soon! This extensive catalogue of sport, leadership and workplace health and safety-related training from EC and leading provincial and national organizations is available to support equestrians in all disciplines, roles, levels and geographic areas.

Courses are available from both EC and third-party sport partners, such as Sport for Life. Active EC Sport Licence Holders will receive discounts on third-party courses relative to their Licence level. Courses currently range in price from $19.95-39.95 CAD.

All active EC Sport Licence Holders will receive free access to the EC Concussions and Fostering Healthy Equestrian Environments e-learning courses as part of EC’s commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Additionally, in honour of the ECampus launch, active EC Sport Licence Holders will save 50% on all e-learning courses until Oct. 31, 2020. Active EC Sport Licence Holders who log in to the campus before Sept. 30, 2020, will also receive complimentary access to Introduction to Long-Term Development in Sport and Physical Activity using the coupon code 1C5C9B.

All-In-One Coach Education Management
If you are or want to be an EC/National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Coach, the ECampus is the go-to tool supporting the PTSOs in all things certification. Use the ECampus to review your transcript and access training opportunities, all in one spot!

For those already certified, your training and certification transcript will be synced with your Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) Locker so that a record of eligible courses and events attended through the ECampus will be synced across both platforms.

Please note that historical records, specifically Coach Developer and Professional Development records, are still in the process of being populated. If you see any disparities in your transcript, please reach out to coaching@equestrian.ca.
