CKC Alumni Council – LA Dempster

In August of 2017, CKC announced that we would be building an inaugural Alumni Council in an effort to better engage our community. LA Dempster immediately stepped up to lead the charge, and has been an incredible asset to the team over the past five years.

Under LA’s leadership, we launched our first fundraising campaigns, an alumni database, Olympic anniversary celebrations, alumni events and have begun the process to establish a Canoe Kayak Hall of Fame.

LA was a National team member, Olympian, coach, paddling parent, and has spent many years volunteering on the administrative side of the sport.

Thank you LA!
