Canadian Sport Institute Ontario Signs on to Abuse-Free Sport

TORONTO (January 25, 2023) – Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO) and each of its employees, contractors, interns, and Board of Directors will have access to the services of the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner (OSIC), which serves as the central hub of Abuse-Free Sport, as of January 31, 2023. Abuse-Free Sport is the new independent program aimed at preventing and addressing maltreatment in sport.

CSIO has completed full adoption of the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS) and updated all required policies.
