Canada’s Women’s Sevens Team to participate in PR7s All-Star Tournament

November 8, 2024 (Langford, BC) – Canada’s Women’s Sevens Team will kick off a new season at the Premier Rugby Sevens (PR7s) All-Star Tournament on Sunday November 17 at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon.  

Canada will face the United States as well as the PR7s All-Stars, which features past Olympians, legends of the game, and other top players.  

“We are looking forward to participating in the PR7s All-Star Tournament against the USA and in preparation for the upcoming 2026 HSBC SVNS series,” said Jocelyn Barrieau, Head Coach of Canada’s Women’s Sevens Team. “We will face some great competition in what will be our program’s first tournament post-Paris 2024. Everyone is excited to get on the pitch and continue to show how women’s rugby is growing in North America.” 

Following the PR7s All-Star Tournament, Canada’s Women’s Sevens Team will kick off HSBC SVNS 2026, with Emirates Dubai 7s taking place November 30 to December 1, followed by HSBC SVNS Cape Town over December 7 to 8.
