It’s game time! The 2025 Canadian Table Tennis Championships kick off at the Richmond Olympic Oval

Richmond, BC – The paddles are out, the tables are ready, and the energy is high as the 2025 Canadian Table Tennis Championships officially get underway at the iconic Richmond Olympic Oval.

This year’s event welcomes nearly 370 athletes from ten provinces and one territory, making it the largest national championship since the pandemic. From rising juniors to seasoned national team members, Canada’s best are ready to battle for glory, and for senior athletes, a coveted spot on the 2025 Pan American Championship team is on the line.

The Richmond Olympic Oval, known for its Olympic legacy, bright open spaces, and athlete-centered design, is the perfect stage for a week of fast-paced rallies, thrilling comebacks, and unforgettable moments.

The number of athletes entered in the competition is a record, especially in the Junior Championships with 244 athletes, while the Senior competition will have 127 athletes.
