Canada Wins Pan Am Cup Bronze

Sept 01, 2025 – Canada swept Colombia 3-0 (27-25, 25-22, 25-14) to win the bronze medal match at the 18th Senior Men’s Pan American Cup on Sunday night in León, Mexico.

Canada closed the tournament with a record of four wins and one loss (to Mexico in the semifinals). Canada now holds two gold, three silver, and four bronze medals in this event’s history.

Colombia finished in fourth place with a record of three wins and three losses, marking the first time in the history of the tournament that Colombia reached a medal match.

Last night, Canada outperformed its opponent in blocking (12-5), attacking (38-24), and serving (6-1). Colombia committed fewer errors – 21 to Canada’s 31.

Canada’s Jordan Canham led all scorers with 16 points (12 attacks, 1 block, 3 aces), followed by Erik Siksna with 13 (8 attacks, 4 blocks, 1 ace), and Jonas Van Huizen with 12 (11 attacks, 1 ace). For Colombia, Andrés Piza and Miguel Martínez each contributed 8 points.

In the tournament’s individual awards, Canada’s Mason Greves was named best setter; Erik Siksna best receiver, and Cole Duncanson was second best blocker.
