VANCOUVER, BC – [JUNE 30th, 2025] — Canada Snowboard is thrilled to announce the athletes named to the 2025/26 Canadian National Snowboard Team, alongside the continued rollout of its partnership with Bell, Canada’s largest telecommunications company and the Official Telecommunications Partner of Canada Snowboard.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to grow snowboarding across Canada by supporting elite athletes, enhancing community-level access, and using world-class technology to bring fans closer to the sport than ever before.
As part of Bell’s ongoing investment in Canadian athletes and sport, this season also marks the official naming of Canada’s National and NextGen teams — a roster of more than 40 snowboarders competing in Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Snowboardcross, Alpine, and Para Snowboard disciplines.
“This partnership is a game-changer for our sport,” said Dustin Heise, CEO of Canada Snowboard. “With Bell’s support, we can amplify the reach of snowboarding across Canada, inspire youth to engage with the sport, and continue providing our elite athletes with the world-class platforms they deserve.”
BELL’S SUPPORT FOR TEAM CANADA AND SNOWBOARD ATHLETES
Bell plays a pivotal role in helping Canada’s athletes thrive on the world stage by providing advanced network connectivity, ensuring they stay connected with fans and supporters wherever they compete.
From athlete-led content to live event streams and in-person experiences, Bell is helping foster stronger connections between snowboarding and its fans — all while elevating the visibility of Canadian talent globally.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW CANADIANS AND YOUTH PARTICIPATION
Beyond performance, Bell and Canada Snowboard are committed to making the sport more accessible. This includes community-based events and youth programming that introduce new Canadians to snowboarding and open doors for potential future competitors.
