Edmonton, Alberta – Reigning U20 World Champion Canada aims for a ‘threepeat’ on home soil from June 22-30. Fans in Canada and around the world can catch all the action streaming live on IFAF.TV. 

IFAF.TV makes live action available internationally in conjunction with streams and broadcasts provided by nations hosting IFAF events and their own domestic competitions, and alongside valued partners.

The City of Champions will host a total of 12 games as teams from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Japan, Panama, and the United States challenge Canada’s dominance at the World Junior level. This marks the sixth edition of the tournament. 

The IFAF U20 World Championship kicks off on June 22, with Canada facing Brazil at 5 PM in Commonwealth Stadium. This match marks Brazil’s historic debut in the U20 category. Head coach of TC1 Warren Craney acknowledges the pressure of defending the title on home soil. “The pressure is the expectation,” says Craney. “It will be very difficult, and every year the quality of football around the world gets better. There is no easy route to the final anymore.”
