Canada Basketball’s Super Clinic returns virtually this May with over 10 basketball NCCP workshops, totalling over 100 hours of NCCP delivery, as well as a professional development Coach speaker series and virtual marketplace. New for 2021 is an entire stream dedicated to officials’ development with a full lineup of Canadian and international presenters.
Super Clinic is Canada’s premier basketball coach and officials education event, celebrating Canadian and international coaches and officials of all levels, from grassroots to high performance.
Attendees can register for any of the following NCCP workshops and programs, which will be delivered virtually over the course of the month of May:
– FUNdamentals (4.5 hours)
– Train to Compete – Planning (13.5 hours)
– Train to Compete – Skills (15 hours)
– Train to Compete – Strategies (15 hours)
In addition, the Super Clinic will feature two pilot NCCP courses of the recently updated Learn to Train course.
Over the course of the final weekend, May 28-30, participants will have the opportunity to learn firsthand from some of the best basketball minds in the game during the Coach Speaker Series. The series will feature nine speaker sessions, as well as three keynote presentations.
New for 2021, the Super Clinic will also host an Officials Speaker Series on the final weekend, May 29-30. The programming will include sessions covering a range of topics for referees, referee coaches and administrators. The series will feature some of the top referees and leaders in the officiating community from Canada, as well as representation from FIBA, NCAA and NBA.
This year’s Super Clinic will also feature a virtual marketplace, featuring vendors and exhibitors profiling new basketball products and coaches’ tools. From shooting machines to the latest coaches analytic software, attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy this virtual marketplace and receive discounts and promotional offers. A new and unique event of the Super Clinic, the Virtual Marketplace will connect you with the right products and tools for your coaching needs.
