BMX and Mountain Bike Athletes Prepare for the 2025 Canada Cup Series

Ottawa, ON (May 15, 2025) – In just two weeks, Cycling Canada’s Canada Cup Series will return to the national calendar, featuring competitions running coast to coast from May to August 2025.

The Canada Cup Series is Cycling Canada’s premiere race series in three thrilling cycling disciplines: BMX racing, downhill (DH) and cross-country mountain bike in Olympic (XCO) and short track (XCC) formats. Designed to bridge the gap between provincial/territorial-level racing and international events, the Series caters to both developing riders and the nation’s top athletes.

“The 2025 Canada Cup series is set to showcase the best of Canadian cycling, with athletes pushing their limits across the three exhilarating disciplines,” says events and officials coordinator Jacob Graper. “With multiple stops across all disciplines, this year’s series promises intense competition, stunning courses, and unforgettable moments stretching from coast to coast. We’re excited to see riders of all levels come together to test their skills, chase personal bests, and inspire the next generation of Canadian cyclists.”

The 2025 calendar features seven mountain bike XCO &XCC, six mountain bike DH and five BMX events across Canada. For more information on the 2025 Canada Cup Series, visit https://cyclingcanada.ca/events-results/canada-cup/.
