A day of Performance and fun at the PGA of Québec Individual and Pro-Am Classic, held at the Alpin Golf Club

[Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, August 4, 2025] – The PGA of Québec Individual Classic and Pro-Am was held today at the renowned Alpine Golf Club, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and a friendly atmosphere. The event, which combines high-level competition and a participatory experience, brought together professionals and amateurs from all walks of life in a spirit of camaraderie and excellence.

The star of the day was undoubtedly William Blanchard, who distinguished himself in the individual portion with an impressive score of 65 (-6), earning him 2,000 points in the association’s overall order of merit. Thanks to his consistent, precise, and inspired play, Blanchard dominated the demanding Alpin course, leaving a strong impression on both his professional colleagues and the amateurs in attendance.

But Blanchard’s performance didn’t stop there. He also led his team to victory in the Pro-Am format, alongside Simon Clément, with a combined score of -6, achieving a rare double win on the day. A noteworthy performance, highlighting both his talent and consistency in both parts of the event.

We’ll remember this one

Brendan Smith, professional assistant at Longchamp Golf and Academy, scored an albatross on the 15th hole! It’s a feat he won’t soon forget. Congratulations Brendan, it’s not every day we see shots like that!

An event made possible thanks to committed partners

The PGA of Québec would like to warmly thank all of the partners who contributed to the success of this memorable day.

A special thank you to Moosehead Brewery, which supplies us with Cracked Canoe beer at each of our events—because you need something to help you get over your losses! We also thank our partners and friends at BEHY, the hydrating beverage, who always respond with generous quantities whenever we call on them.

We would also like to thank TaylorMade, Callaway, and Adidas, who generously provided our amateurs with high-quality gifts. Thanks to them, participants were able to leave with tangible souvenirs of their time at the event, in addition to enjoying an exceptional day in the company of PGA of Québec professionals.

An event to remember

The PGA of Québec would like to thank the Alpin Golf Club for its impeccable hospitality and its spectacular course. Despite last night’s heavy rain, the course was in excellent condition. As the saying goes here at the Club: Alpin Golf is the only course that drinks more than its members!
