28 ORGANIZATIONS AWARDED GAME. SET. EQUITY. COMMUNITY TENNIS GRANTS PRESENTED BY NATIONAL BANK

With $100,000 awarded to the program this year, a total of nearly $300,000 has now been invested in the initiative that fosters the participation, retention, and advancement
of women and girls in tennis

[MONTREAL, QC] April 30, 2025 – Tennis Canada has selected 28 organizations to receive funding under the Game. Set. Equity. Community Tennis Grants presented by National Bank in 2025. Since this initiative launched in 2022, it has continued to grow, and with organizations located in nine provinces and two territories, this marks the largest-ever group of grant recipients. In addition, Tennis Canada will also be offering additional support, such as education and resources, to our applicant community, further expanding efforts to promote equity and inclusion in tennis.

“Every year, the momentum behind this program continues to grow — and this latest group of recipients shows not only how deeply invested and engaged communities across the country are to making tennis more inclusive, but also how great the need remains,” said Terri Temelini, Director, Women & Girls Advancement, Tennis Canada. “These grants go beyond funding — they represent a meaningful step toward a more equitable future for our sport. We’re proud to support so many organizations creating real opportunities for women and girls, and we look forward to continuing this important work alongside National Bank.”
