2022 Age Group World Championship Open registration

In light of this and the lack of qualifying opportunities for 2022 World Championship Events, an open lottery will be held for remaining team spots. Athletes who had previously qualified and were on the existing 2020 age group world championship teams were given priority for these 2022 spots.

The open lottery will begin onĀ November 15, 2021Ā at 12:00PM PST and run for 1 month. The link is below for all interested athletes.

Certain age groups will haveĀ very limited spots available, due to roll over from the 2020 team. Access to remaining spots is on a first come, first serve basis.

Athletes who are successful in securing a spot will be charged the $190 non-refundable team management fee. It is important to note that this isĀ notĀ the race entry fee. The race entry fees will be charged per event at a date much closer the race.

The 2022 World Championship Events are:

  • Montreal, QC: Sprint and Mixed Team Relay. June 22-26, 2022
  • Abu Dhabi, UAE: Standard, Super-Sprint and standard Aquabike. November 2-5, 2022.
  • Multisport World Championship: Sprint and Standard duathlon, Cross tri, Long distance tri and aquabike, aquathlon.Ā Location and date TBD.Ā
