True Sport – (Ottawa, Ontario – November 19, 2019) – In recognition of the belief that good sport can make a great difference, Ringette Canada has declared the 2019 World Ringette Championships a True Sport event. Ringette Canada and True Sport share a common goal – to inspire youth to practice values-based and principle-driven sport.
The event gets underway in Burnaby, British Columbia on November 24 and runs until December 1. Seven countries will compete for world titles in the President’s, Junior and Sam Jacks divisions and teams, participants, coaches and officials are being urged to make their commitment to good sport official by joining True Sport.
