In our house growing up, it was my mom that was a big sport fan, not my dad. Our participation in sport was an expectation, and she provided lots of support. From throwing my first curling rock, to captaining my high school field hockey team, I followed in my mom’s footsteps.
Dans notre maison, en grandissant, c’est ma mère qui était une grande fan de sport, pas mon père. Notre participation au sport était une attente, et elle nous a beaucoup aidés. Du lancement de ma première pierre de curling à être capitaine de l’équipe de hockey sur gazon de mon école secondaire, j’ai suivi les traces de ma mère.
