The Opportunity:
The Canada Games Council is seeking a dynamic connector to play a key role in the organization’s Fund Development and Partner Relations. Reporting to the VP, Partnerships & Marketing & Communications, the successful candidate is responsible for executing revenue generating activities (e.g. sponsorship sales, grant applications, fundraising), strategically assessing and pursuing novel sources of revenue, maintaining relationships with National Partners and Donors, and providing support and transfer of knowledge to Canada Games Host Societies in the planning of the Games.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English & French), based in Ottawa and is motivated by the opportunity to strengthen the financial sustainability of the Canada Games Movement. This candidate will be intrinsically motivated, adept in both connecting with people and in building new relationships. They will conduct themselves with integrity and a solutions-oriented approach. They will also bring previous experience in alumni relations, fundraising, or sales that augment the team’s composite skillset.
