The Sport Department at the Canadian Olympic Committee is seeking an individual to help with sport services and administrative coordination as the Games Planning Team prepares for the Asuncion 2025 Junior Pan American Games and Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
Location
This internship will be located at the COC office in Montreal, QC at 500 Boul. René-Levesque, 2nd floor. We offer a hybrid work model that allows for up to two days of remote work each week.
Core responsibilities and priorities
The Sport Services Intern would assist the Games Planning Team with various tasks including:
- Support the Sport Services team with data verification for Asuncion 2025 Junior Pan American Games and Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
- Support with distribution, collection and update of registration requirement statuses in the COC’s Games management system.
- Assist with the accreditation and sport entries processes for Asuncion 2025 Junior Pan American Games and Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
- Provide support to the team with the coordination and administrative tasks as needed including vetting and verify large amounts of data.
- Support in the planning of the Milano Cortina 2026 Games Preparation Seminar Content.
- Support in the planning and delivery various touch-points with National Sport Organizations (NSOs) such as team registration reviews and preparation seminar marketplace.
- Assist contacts from NSOs via Sport Services shared email when required.
- Assist in other sport department projects as required.
Qualifications and critical skills
- Must be enrolled in a Canadian degree or diploma program in Sport Management or relevant field
- Knowledge of the Canadian Sport System and Canadian athletes considered an asset
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Time and priority management; ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to build and maintain excellent work relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with MS Office software and Google Suite
- Ability to work some weekends and weeknights is required
- Bilingual French and English considered an asset

Term
This full-time internship will run from approximately May 2025 to August 2025, depending on the successful intern’s availability and the academic calendar.
Compensation
This is a paid internship. The intern will earn an hourly wage of $18.00 with a maximum of 35 hours per week.
