About GWN: Proudly Canadian but with international reach, GWN is an expert in developing and managing innovative event experiences, from grassroots to the global stage. Our core focus is creating and producing inspiring events that engage, have a lasting impact, and move our partners forward.
Each year, GWN produces more than 40 events including Major League Dragon Boat, a series of eleven premier dragon boat events, and the SuperPower 5k | 10K. GWN offers start-to-finish event management services, corporate team-building experiences, social marketing initiatives, premier training camps. As GWN continues to grow, we are looking to add to our team.
The core responsibility of this position is to work with senior leaders and our clients to ensure the smooth delivery of our events. This will include logistical planning and implementation, budgeting, managing stakeholder relationships, coordination of human resources, and on-site execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Play an integral role in the logistical planning and execution of events
- Develop strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues
- Manage and schedule staff and volunteers
- Look at external best practices to ensure our events have continued success
- Positively impact the growth and development of GWN as a whole
Experience or Must Haves:
- Minimum two years of sport or mass participation event management experience
- Ability to travel within Canada and the United States (less than 20% of the time)
- Must have a “G” class driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs
