General Description and Roles

Volleyball Canada is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time coaches to work with the Summer Next Gen Beach Volleyball National Team from May 21st to August 31st , 2025. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of talented athletes and support them in their journey to represent Canada on the international stage.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with National Team Next Gen Head coaches in delivering high-quality training sessions and programs for the Summer Next Gen Beach Volleyball National Program.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training plans tailored to the needs of individual athletes and the program as a whole.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to athletes during training sessions and competitions.
  • Support the coaching staff in creating a positive and supportive training environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Help monitor and track the progress of athletes throughout the training period.

Requirements

  • Previous volleyball coaching experience at a provincial level, with beach coaching being preferred.
  • Strong understanding of beach volleyball techniques, strategies, and training methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and support staff.
  • Demonstrated commitment to athlete development and the pursuit of excellence.
  • Availability to work part-time from May 21st to August 31st , 2025, in Toronto, Ontario. Mainly day-time hours with some weekend events.
  • Must be able to pass a vulnerable sector police check and provide proof of relevant coaching certifications.
