2024 Kaleigh Rafter High Performance Coaching Webinar Series

It’s back again! Join us beginning January 7th, as the Head Coach of Canada’s Women’s National Team, Kaleigh Rafter hosts a four – part High-Performance Coaching Webinar Series. Rafter is a highly decorated athlete and coach with notable experience in the NCAA and at the international level. In this webinar series, coaches will have the opportunity to learn the information and techniques Rafter and her coaching staff use to lead the Canadian Women’s National Team.  

Who Should Attend?  

Coaches seeking to gain insight on how a national level team is ran to advance concepts and skills that may be applied within their own team. Please be advised that this webinar series will only be provided in English.  

When do the webinars run?  

The webinars will be broken down into four separate days. All webinars will be held via Zoom beginning at 8pm EST and will include a 60-minute session followed by 30-minutes of Q&A. A different link will be sent the Friday before each session.

One NCCP PD point will be awarded to coaches who attend each session in its completion.

Schedule

January 7th - Practice planning.  This session will dive into practice planning and how we set up a practice both on the micro/practice level as well as the macro/season level. We will go over the 80% rule with practice planning and how to best incorporate this methodology into your practices.

January 14th - Catching and Game calling.  What are the important aspects of the catching position and how can we best develop these as coaches? We will also look into different types of hitters and how to call a game when it comes to pitch calling and sequencing.

January 21st - Drills, Drills, Drills – In this session we will go over drills that coaches can use in practice to elevate players.

February 4th - Hitting as a Complete Offense – In this session we will do a deep dive into situational hitting as well as strategies to maximize your line ups and teams’ strengths in game.

Other Information 

Each session will be recorded, and participants will have access to the sessions until the end of February. Access to the sessions for longer may be purchased for a fee.

Webinars will be hosted in English only.

Participants must be over the age of 18 to participate. 

Cost

$150 to access to all four sessions. Sessions are not able to be purchased individually. Non refundable.
