WBC Launches Athlete Spotlight Series Presented by Toyota

Ever wonder what drives Canada’s high-performance wheelchair basketball athletes? What they do beyond basketball?  
 
Get to know your Canadian athletes as Wheelchair Basketball Canada (WBC) launches its Athlete Spotlight Series, presented by Toyota. Over the coming months, WBC will check in with Canadian athletes vying to represent Team Canada on the world stage, including athletes on the journey towards Tokyo.  
 
When the spotlight is on, fans will have the opportunity to learn about and engage with members of the National Team program. From Monday to Friday, tune into WBC’s digital platforms as we share fun and compelling content leading up to an interactive takeover with Canadian athletes.  
 
First up, WBC will turn the spotlight on Paralympic gold medalist and Team Canada co-captain Bo Hedges of Wonowon, B.C. Get to know the @therealbohedges / @hedgescanada_6 like never before starting April 27th.
