Sail Canada gets recognized at
World Sailing Meetings

Don Adams (Sail Canada CEO), Nadine Stegenwalner (World Sailing Board Member)

Sail Canada’s CANSail Program was presented as a Recognized Training Program by World Sailing at the 2019 World Sailing Annual Conference in Bermuda.

The CANSail program is recognized as one of 14 programs in the world meeting the World Sailing Standards along with the Royal Yachting Association, Australian Sailing, and the New Zealand Yachting Association.

The accreditation is a recognition of the systematic approach of the CANSail program that introduces youth to the sport of sailing and continues them on the athlete pathway to international performance. It is a tribute to the hard work of the Sail Canada CANSail Panel in creating a world recognized training program that is amongst the best in the world.
