Chief Executive Officer – Canadian Cerebral Palsy Sports Association (CCPSA)

Lead Paralympic excellence. Champion inclusion. Transform lives through sport.

The Canadian Cerebral Palsy Sports Association (CCPSA) is seeking a visionary and mission-driven CEO to lead Canada’s highly decorated boccia program and expand national access to inclusive, life-changing athletic opportunities for people with disabilities.

CCPSA is the National Sport Organization for boccia, a precision Paralympic sport for athletes with motor disabilities. Boccia Canada is the boccia delivery arm of CCPSA. Boccia is a Paralympic sport that can be played by anyone, with or without a disability. Originally designed for people with severe cerebral palsy, it is now enjoyed by players with a wide variety of disabilities. Beyond stewarding Canada’s high-performance team, we build community, confidence, and competitive excellence through grassroots to international programming.

The CEO will lead the execution of CCPSA’s Strategic Plan, represent the organization nationally and internationally, and foster a values-based culture rooted in excellence, accessibility, resilience, and Safe Sport principles.

This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Paralympic sport in Canada. The CEO will lead a coordinated national team, anchored by administrative operations in Ottawa and high-performance programming in Montreal, while building partnerships and visibility across the country.

We’re seeking a strategic and collaborative leader with experience in sports, nonprofit, or public service leadership. Strong financial and operational oversight, team leadership, partner engagement, and a passion for inclusive sport are essential. Knowledge of Canada’s sport system, Safe Sport principles, and disability inclusion is highly valued. Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset.

Join us in writing the next chapter of Canadian Paralympic sport and help fulfill our vision that Canada is a leading nation in boccia and Canadians with physical disabilities have access to quality sport programming.

If you believe in excellence, inclusion, resilience, and the transformative power of athletic achievement, we invite you to join us.

Please submit your resume and cover letter, including salary expectations, to mark@mckinleysolutions.com by August 20th. To learn more about our work and impact, visit www.ccpsa.ca.
