Team Canada Returns Home for Canada Cup Following Gold Medal Performance

Surrey, B.C. – Fresh off their gold medal victory at the XI Pan American Championship in Montería, Colombia, Softball Canada’s Women’s National Team is back on home soil and ready to compete in the highly anticipated Canada Cup, taking place July 8–13 in Surrey, British Columbia

The tournament will feature twelve teams, divided into two pools. Team Canada will compete in the Red Pool alongside New Zealand, Ukraine, Team BC, Czechia, and SoCal Sting. The Black Pool will include TC Colorado, Israel, the Netherlands, Greece, the New Zealand Development Team, and the Saskatchewan 222’s. 

Canada enters the tournament as the defending champions, having gone undefeated to capture gold at last year’s event. With the momentum from their recent Pan Am Championship title, the team will be aiming to deliver another dominant performance and reach the podium once again in front of their home crowd.
