The City of Victoriaville and Fenergic renew their commitment as title partners of the Victoriaville – Fenergic Canada Cup until 2028

Victoriaville, June 16, 2025 – The Club de golf Victoriaville is pleased to announce that the City of Victoriaville and Fenergic have renewed their agreement as title partners of the Victoriaville – Fenergic Canada Cup for a further three years, for the 2026, 2027 and 2028 editions.

Already a partner since the event’s very beginnings in 2013, the City of Victoriaville has always been a proud supporter of this national tournament. For its part, Fenergic, which has been involved for four years now, confirms its long-term commitment to the development of top-level golf in Québec.

“For the City of Victoriaville, the Victoriaville – Fenergic Canada Cup is a must-attend event that brings exceptional visibility to our city. The Victoriaville Golf Club is an amazing site, supported by quality people – shareholders, volunteers and passionate organizers. So it’s only natural to support a team that wants to make Victoriaville a leading golfing destination in Québec and Canada,” says Antoine Tardif, Mayor of Victoriaville.

For Pierre Beauchesne, President of Fenergic, the renewal was also an obvious choice :

“I learned to play golf here, at the Victoriaville Golf Club, in the 70s. My attachment to this club runs deep. So it was only natural for Fenergic to continue this wonderful adventure with the Canada Cup. We’re particularly proud to contribute to the growth of such a major national tournament – and to be part of the event’s 15th anniversary in 2028.”

The Victoriaville – Fenergic Canada Cup is supported by valuable partners such as Groupe AndersonVictoriaville & Co and Groupe Laquerre, and offers a total purse of $140,000, including $35,000 for the champion. Each year, the event attracts over 130 professional golfers from Canada and abroad, as well as fifteen amateurs.

“The Victoriaville – Fenergic Canada Cup provides our club with an exceptional showcase across the country. It generates significant economic spin-offs, not only during the week of the tournament, but for the entire season. Many golfers come to Victoriaville specifically to play on the Canada Cup course. They stay in our hotels, eat in our restaurants and play an active part in the region’s tourism boom. We are very grateful to the City of Victoriaville and Fenergic for this renewed vote of confidence,” concludes Philippe-André Champoux, President of Club de golf Victoriaville.
