We’re currently developing a white paper titled Closing the Compliance Gap: How Clubs Can Use Technology to Meet Safe Sport Standards and Protect Athletes.

Prompted by recent findings—such as only 50% of Canadian coaches completing Safe Sport training and one-third lacking background checks or signed codes of conduct—this piece will explore the growing compliance challenges in Canadian sport.

The paper will propose a digital solution: a centralized platform that helps clubs track certifications, automate reminders, generate audit-ready reports, and manage incident reporting—helping organizations move from reactive to proactive compliance.

Our goal is to offer a practical, forward-thinking resource that sport administrators and club leaders can use to strengthen Safe Sport practices and rebuild trust with athletes, parents, and funders.

We’d love to collaborate with SIRC to ensure this paper aligns with your values and reaches the sport leaders who need it most.
