Media Accreditation Registration – Volleyball Nations League

Volleyball Canada – Volleyball Nations League (VNL) is returning to the Arena at TD Place.

Ottawa hosts a second-week pool-play round of VNL that will feature men’s teams from Australia, Germany and Serbia, June 7, 8, 9, 2019. Ottawa also hosted a weekend in 2018.

This is part of an international tournament that includes men’s core teams from Argentina, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Poland, Russia, Serbia and USA. They are complemented by the challenger teams of Australia, Bulgaria and Canada, plus newcomers Portugal who won last year’s Challenger Cup and are replacing Korea who were relegated last year.

Team Canada travels to Argentina, back to Ottawa, then Iran, USA and Brazil for the final weekend of pool play. The 2019 finals will be held in the U.S.
Canada’s men’s team finished seventh in VNL in 2018, just outside of the final six playoff round.

4:30 p.m. – Serbia vs. Germany
7:30 p.m. – Canada vs. Australia
June 8
4:00 p.m. – Serbia vs Australia
7:00 p.m. – Canada vs. Germany
June 9
1:00 p.m. – Germany vs. Australia
4:00 p.m. – Canada vs. Serbia
