OTTAWA – Baseball Canada is proud to announce that the Women’s National Team will participate in a Women’s National Team Development Program (WNTDP) from October 15 – 19, 2025, in Cary, North Carolina.
The event, hosted by USA Baseball at their world-class National Training Complex, will feature daily skill development sessions, structured workouts, competitive games, and team-building activities, all within a high-performance setting designed to support athlete growth.
An expanded Canadian roster will make the trip to Cary, with player selections based on evaluations from the 2025 Women’s Invitational Championship in Québec City, along with additional talent identification events held throughout the summer.
Following a strong third-place finish at the 2024 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup in Thunder Bay, this Development Program represents an important step in preparing athletes for future international competition while continuing to elevate the Women’s National Team program.
“We’re excited to be able to offer invited athletes the opportunity to participate in this development program,” said Adam Morissette, Women’s National Team Operations Manager. “We’re thankful to USA Baseball for hosting this event and are confident the experience will benefit our athletes and our program as we look ahead to the future of the Women’s National Team.”
