Main activities and responsibilities
Reporting organizationally to the Team and Referee Services Operations Manager, the Team Services Coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing efficient working relationships with teams (Member Associations) through proactive communication, timely information sharing, expectation management and problem solving both before and during the FIFA World Cup 2026â„¢ (FCWC26).
The Team Services Coordinator will act as a key liaison between FIFA and the specific Participating Member Associations (PMAs). The Team Services Coordinator will also be responsible for a number of operational projects related to teams’ participation and activities.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Team Services Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26â„¢ include:
- Pre-tournament time role:
- Communicating with the teams on a daily basis, assisting them in their preparations, briefing them for the tournaments and supporting them during the FWC26.
- Supporting Team Services with planning and implementing additional Events, such as Team Seminars and Team Workshops and by organising these events in the agreed locations.
- Preparing, coordinating & accompanying team delegations on official Team Base Camps’ (TBCs) and venue inspection’ visits in Canada together with the Team Facilities team in Miami.
- Assisting Team Facilities team in the operational planning of Team Base Camps (TBCs) and Venue Specific facilities.
- Maintaining the Member Association database with the most up to date information related to the assigned teams.
- Supporting the creation and implementation of FWC26 Team Services related policies, procedures and guidelines involving all stakeholders.
- Supporting the Team Services Referee and Operations Manager in cross-functional coordination with all relevant Functional Areas.
- Supporting the Team Services Referee and Operations Manager with the preparation of content for presentations, handbooks and reports.
- Supporting the Team Services Planning Manager based in Miami with the recruitment and training of the Team Liaison Officers (TLOs).
- Supporting FIFA Team Services with the official communication to teams and Zurich based operations.
- Tournament time role:
- Cooperating with all Functional Areas and service providers to support respective four Participating Member Associations daily.
- Ensuring that all additional requests of respective teams related to facilities and operations are fulfilled and implemented.
- Inserting planned Teams’ activities on team services scheduling platform, assisting Team Liaison Officers with this task during Event time.
- Assisting Team Liaison Officers of respective teams by being in constant contact with them, resolving and escalating issues at the Main Operations Centre.
- Any other task related to coordination of services to teams that will be required.

Work Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Competition Management, Team Management or Event Services fields in large international events.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, including both pre-event and event time.
Languages
- Must be fluent in English, written and spoken. Knowledge of the FIFA Official languages is an asset.
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools.
