The third edition of the Abuse-Free Sport Webinar Series is just around the corner!

Through this series of three webinars, we will cover a wide range of safe sport topics as a means to help shift the culture of sport in Canada so that everyone can enjoy a safe, positive, and enriching experience. We are excited to present the first webinar of the series, which will focus on the positive behaviors and best practices that administrators can adopt and promote in order to engage their members in supporting safe sport initiatives.

The speakers for the first webinar are:

  • Joseph Gurgis, Assistant Teaching Professor, University of Ontario Institute of Technology
  • Rachel Nicol, Athlete and Survivor Engagement Coordinator, Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC)
