Media Advisory: Canada to Unveil Short Track Team for World Cup in Montreal, Launch Pair of International Events

Speed Skating Canada – Media invited to learn more about the ISU World Cup and ISU Four Continents Championships and interview the short track skaters who will compete on home ice in Montreal from November 8-10

MONTREAL, QUEBEC – Speed Skating Canada invites members of the media to join us as we formally launch the 2019 ISU World Cup Short Track in Montreal and unveil the skaters that will represent Canada on home ice this November. The team for this competition will feature three skaters making their international debut, alongside Olympians and breakouts stars from last season. The skaters will be available for interviews on Tuesday, October 8 from 12:00 PM to 1:30PM

Representatives from the local organizing committee will also be on hand to share details on the two exciting international short track events being hosted in Montreal this season – the ISU World Cup in November and the first ever ISU Four Continents Championships in January, which will be a historic moment for our sport.
