Beach Volleyball Update: NORCECA Open and U23 Trials

The NORCECA open trials were held to determine a final ranking of one to four per gender. These four teams will make up the Volleyball Canada NORCECA eligibility list for the last six months of NORCECA Beach Tour events (starting July 1) in 2024, excluding the NORCECA Finals.
 
The winners of the NORCECA Open trials: 

Men

1st – Martin Licht / Robert Kemp (ON) (21-17, 21-16)
2nd – Rouzbeh Rahnavard (ON) / Tynan Gannett (NS)
3rd – Steve Abrams / Jonny Pickett (ON)
4th – Ben Moffat / Julien Jouan (ON)

Women

1st – Abbey Thorup / Sophia Hladyniuk (ON) (22-20, 21-16)
2nd – Amy Ozee / Kaylee Glagau (ON)
3rd – Mikayla Law-Heese / Kristina May (ON)
4th – Dana Roskic / Grace Pyatt (ON)

Men

1st – Connor Dorsey / Aiden Hilkowitz (ON) (11-21, 22-20, 15-12)
2nd – Cole Linskill / Hank Heider (ON)
3rd – Michael Korman / Jack Barrett (ON)

Women

1st – Akash Grewal (BC) / Ofure Odigie (ON) (21-8, 21-17)
2nd – Emma Braticevic / Sophie Hancock (ON)
3rd – Alisa Gavva / Darcie Buchanan (ON)
 
NORCECA has a U23 tournament scheduled for Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (October 1-5).
