Already through to the knockout phase, Canada won their third group match in three days at the Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Championship with a 1:0 victory over Panama. William Daniels scored the lone goal in the second half while goalkeeper Jean-Christophe Belzile and his backline posted the clean sheet. Canada’s Grady McDonnell hit the post in the first half.

Canada will face either USA or Haiti on Thursday 10 August in Quarterfinals. From there, the top-four nations will play on both Friday 11 August in the Concacaf Semifinals and Sunday 13 August in either the Match for 3rd Place or the Concacaf Final.

This Canada’s third participation at the Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Championship, having reached the Concacaf Semifinals in both 2017 and 2019 (there was no tournament in 2021 because of the global pandemic). Matches are 70 minutes long and Canada will train with a squad of 22 players including four alternates, with all players in the competition born 2008 or later.
