Canada Soccer Women’s National team will be playing the first game of their two-match series against Brazil Friday 11 November 15.15 local (13.15 ET / 10.15 PT) at Vila Belmiro, in Santos. The match will be broadcast live on OneSoccer as part of a Canada Soccer Friday double header featuring both the Men’s National Team (10.30 ET / 07.30 PT) and Women’s National Team (13.15 ET / 10.15 PT).
Both teams have been well-matched throughout the years with Canada having a record of eight wins, nine draws, and nine losses against Brazil. The last time the two teams met was on 30 July 2021 at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, when Canada beat Brazil 4-3 on kicks from the penalty mark after a scoreless draw through 120 minutes. Canada will conclude their series on Tuesday 15 November 15.15 local (13.15 ET / 10.15 PT) at Química Arena, São Paulo.
“Brazil will be a test which is something we need, we’ve always seen a tough game against them,” said Canada Women’s National Team Head Coach Bev Priestman. “They’re great at transitions so we’ll need our standards and habits defensively, but also be brave in the attack. Hopefully, this will be an exciting game for everybody to tune into.”
