Canada, Ontario set for Saturday night clash at 2023 Tim Hortons Brier in London

There is already an abundance of excitement in London, Ont., in advance of the 2023 Tim Hortons Brier, presented by AGI, March 3-12 at Budweiser Gardens.

But you can expect that excitement to be ramped up to another level on Wednesday when single-draw tickets for the world’s most famous national curling championship event go on sale, with the Ontario and Team Canada games in the schedule now locked in.

Even more exciting — Brad Gushue’s defending champion Team Canada will take on the newly crowned Ontario champs on the opening Saturday night, at 7 p.m. (all times Eastern) in what should be an electric atmosphere at Budweiser Gardens and, no doubt, will be the hottest ticket in town.

Round-robin single-draw ticket prices range from $23 to $47.50. Playoff and semifinal games are $47.50 up to $60 for Sunday’s gold-medal final.  Youth under the age of 18 can attend Draws 1 through 18 for free with a paying adult. These tickets can only be purchased at the Budweiser Gardens box office. Youth tickets for all playoff games are $13.

While the rest of the matchups won’t be known until after provincial and territorial championships are complete, we now know when the home team and Team Canada will be on the ice for the round robin.
