(TORONTO, ONT.) Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that 13 athletes will participate in a training camp from May 12-21, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
In addition to practices, Team Canada will also play six exhibition games against Team USA – an opportunity to increase game experience for all athletes – from May 18-21.
“The 10-day training camp will allow our athletes to build team chemistry on and off the court as we prepare for the 2022 season,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The six exhibition games against Team USA will give our women’s team excellent competition in preparation for upcoming tournaments, including Americas Cup.”
