Media Accreditation now open for 2022 Canad Inns Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials

Canada’s team that will take on the task of defending gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics will be decided at the 2022 Canad Inns Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Trials, Dec. 28-Jan. 2 in Portage la Prairie, Man.

Sixteen teams will be competing at Stride Place for the right to be named to the Canadian Olympic team and represent Canada in mixed doubles curling at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, and aim to replicate the gold-medal success of Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris from four years ago in PyeongChang, South Korea.

This proof must be submittedin advance to media@curling.ca by no later than Dec. 21. There will be absolutely no exceptions to this requirement.

Additionally, media will be required to wear masks in the building. Socially distanced interviews with players will be permitted. Where possible, phone/Zoom interviews can also be set up for media not in attendance.
