Title: Coordinator, Youth on Course
Reports to: National Manager, Youth on Course & Events
Location: Hybrid: 3 days/week remote & 2 days/week in-person at Golf Canada Head Office, Oakville, Ontario
Status: Full Time

OVERVIEW:
Golf Canada is looking for a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills to assist with the day-to-day operations and expansion of Youth on Course in Canada. Reporting directly to the National Manager, Youth on Course & Events, this individual will collaborate with internal staff, golf courses, parents/guardians, participants, and the provincial golf associations to successfully implement and grow Youth on Course across the country. This role will focus on program operations and event planning.
AREAS OF FOCUS:
- Develop strategies to expand into new regions and increase youth participation
- Lead prospect research, outreach, and onboarding of new Youth on Course locations
- Ensure timely submission and accurate processing of subsidy payments to courses
- Fulfill direct program inquiries and requests from golf clubs, parents/guardians, and members
- Develop, implement, and update program policies and procedures
- Coordinate and improve the integration between Golf Canada and Youth on Course’s member databases, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Update and maintain the reporting database (Salesforce) and website (WordPress)
- Assist with accurate program data collection and reporting
- Support forecasting, tracking, and reporting of financial performance metrics
- Assist with administrative tasks related to Youth on Course, including but not limited to:
- Source and purchase marketing collateral, gifting, and supplies, as required
- Coordinate packaging, shipping, and tracking of marketing collateral, gifting, and supplies
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to promote Youth on Course:
- Identify and implement new ways to market to junior golfers and attract the interest of donors
- Develop marketing assets and collateral to support operations at golf courses
- Develop communication materials to support outreach to youth, parents, and golf courses
- Serve as a liaison to Youth on Course HQ, Provincial Associations, and internal staff to ensure programmatic alignment within the junior golf participation pathway
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Stewardship of First Tee – Canada, and First Tee chapter staff to assist with outreach and onboarding of RBC Community Junior Golf-funded sites
- Assist with the planning and execution of regional 100 Hole Hikes
- Assist with the planning and execution of the annual Premier 100 Hole Hike
- Support the recruitment and retention of national corporate partners
- Implement Youth on Course activations at Golf Canada’s Professional Championships
- Other duties as required
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES:
- Work (including internship) experience in sport, event management, administration, and/or program management
- Post-secondary degree in sport business/management or related field is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and outgoing personality
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual with interest in impacting youth through sport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the Canadian golf industry is considered an asset
- Ability to travel as needed

Golf Canada’s regular hours of work are 40 hours per week, namely Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and 5 days a week including a one-hour lunch. However, the demands of your position may require your hours of work to vary to meet the objectives of your employment. Due to the nature of this position, there may also be some travel required and the need to work some weekends.
