Director, Partnerships & Ticket Sales
Ottawa Rapid FC joins clubs in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax as a founding member of the Northern Super League, Canada’s first women’s pro soccer league. The Director, Partnerships & Ticket Sales joins the revenue generation team of the organization to attract new partners through mutually beneficial partnerships and oversee all ticket product sales, working towards an annual revenue target.
Key responsibilities include:

Prospect, develop, and cultivate an ongoing pipeline of new corporate partnership and ticket purchase opportunities, with a focus on:
- Medium to semi-large-scale investments with regional and national brands
- Sales across seasons, partials, groups, suites, and individual ticket packages

Effective prospect management, including:
- Setting objectives
- Negotiating contract terms
- Supporting renewals

Assess and manage the implementation of a CRM system.

Represent the Club as a strong external ambassador by:
- Developing compelling, data-driven, innovative proposals
- Delivering impactful sales results

Leverage market intelligence to support the team by:
- Understanding competitor activities, industry trends, and leading customer/member trends
- Analyzing market conditions and benchmarking KPIs and pricing to ensure desirable ROI

Coach and develop a team of partnership and ticketing sales and client success staff to maintain high levels of engagement and performance.

Support the Game Day Operations team in delivering exceptional fan experiences.
Requirements:

Minimum 6+ years of experience in ticket sales, sponsorship sales, business development, or relevant sales roles (equivalent experience in a related field will be considered).

Minimum University-level post-secondary education in:
- English
- Marketing
- Business Administration
- Other related majors

Proven experience driving pipelines with a track record of closing 5- to 6-figure deals.

Experience managing and motivating direct reports.

Proficiency in Excel.

Recent experience working with:
- CRM software
- Ticketmaster/Archtics environment

Exceptional business writing skills with attention to detail, particularly for proposals and contracts.

Understanding of the hospitality, sports, and entertainment marketplace in Ottawa and the broader regional area.

Capacity and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment with varied daily tasks; committed and excited by the sports industry, especially during peak seasons requiring greater dedication.
Job details:
This is a full time, hybrid, permanent position that requires the candidate to be in Ottawa.
Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for games/events.
Base salary plus bonus structure with total compensation ranging between $85,000 – $95,000 plus comprehensive health benefits.
