The Golf Services team is responsible for providing customer service to golf clubs and individual member golfers (emails and phone calls) and assisting in the implementation of member services initiatives. The team also reviews, maintains, and makes recommendations to improve user and member experiences.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Member/Customer Service (90%)
- Provide customer service and Score Centre support for member clubs and golfers
- Act as the primary point of contact for member services (e.g., transfers, merging, account modifications)
- Make recommendations to improve user experience and customer service
- Membership Tracking (5%)
- Assist with year-to-date tracking of membership numbers and sales
- Support the Member Service team in measuring member benefit fulfillment
- Systems (5%)
- Update and maintain the Member Club database with club information
- Perform data entry and maintain the Golf Canada Score Centre
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
- Customer service experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- French language considered an asset, but not required
- Competency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in groups and independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible hours, including some weekends
- Golf knowledge is considered an asset
WORKING HOURS
Golf Canada’s regular hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, including a one-hour lunch. However, the demands of this position may require irregular hours to meet employment objectives.
