2017 Canada Summer Games – Winnipeg, MB, July 25, 2017 – Manitoba’s capital and host city of the 2017 Canada Summer Games will welcome the Manitoba Hydro Torch Relay tomorrow, as torchbearers of all ages carry the Roly McLenahan Torch along 67 legs through the streets of Winnipeg.  With the Games just days away, 2017 Games mascot Niibin is inviting residents to cheer on the torchbearers.

“The excitement has been building since the Manitoba Hydro Torch Relay kicked off in Steinbach on June 23,” said Mariette Mulaire, Co-chair of the 2017 Canada Summer Games Host Society. “The Roly McLenahan torch has traveled through 10 rural communities and travelled over 3,500 kilometres. We can’t wait to share the spirit of the 2017 Canada Summer Games with all of Winnipeg!”.
