QUOTES:

ELLSAY, Gillian (Courtenay) – Gold Individual time trial female

“It was a goal to be top five. But I didn’t really know what my form was exactly like coming here. My coach was standing on the side of the road yelling that I was five seconds up. It’s really cool. This is my second Canada Games so getting the gold is pretty special.”

LUO, Jessica (Victoria) – Swimming – three relay medals
On being called the anchorwoman of the relays
“Every single relay is a different experience. But I am just super happy and super proud of the three girls that were ahead of me. They put me in a really good place. I am really proud of my fourth medal.”

DOMMANN, Raben (North Vancouver) – Swimming – four time medalist
On his third gold medal in the men’s 400m free
“It’s a great swim for me. At the beginning of the year, my coach and I looked at times. We said at the end of the year, if I can go 4:02, that sets me up for next season and keep on building on that until 2020 in the Olympic year. I accomplished what I wanted to this year.”
