Alpine Canada Alpin – PRÉFONTAINE TAKES 10th IN MARIBOR GS
In Maribor, SLO, the warm weather wreaked havoc on the giant slalom track for the ladies’ tech teams. The course rutted up quickly, deteriorating the track for the later racers in the field. The coarse and sugary snow conditions made for a tough and challenging race but Canada’s Marie-Pier Préfontaine and Marie-Michèle Gagnon held onto a tenth and 11th-place finish respectively.
