Manitoba Soccer Association – Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) is pleased to announce the continuation of the 2017 Provincial Championships Competition. The tournament will resume this coming Saturday, August 19th with the finals taking place the following Saturday, August 26th at the Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex (RCSC).

In the Manitoba Master’s division, the women’s final will be held on August 26th at 2:30 p.m. and will see Classics SC take on Wisergals. The Master men’s division final will also be played at 2:30 p.m. and will see Rovers FC take on Galacticos SC in a rematch of last year’s final.

The Manitoba Senior Men’s final will be held at 4:30 p.m. and will feature a matchup between Winnipeg Lions FC and Ital Inter.

In the U15 division, both the girl’s and boy’s will see six teams compete for the title. The U15 division schedule is as follows:

Saturday, August 19th

12:00 p.m. – U15 Boys – Westman FC vs. St Charles Force – RCSC

12:00 p.m. – U15 Boys – Winnipeg South End United vs. Hanover SC – Steinbach Soccer Park

Sunday, August 20th

12:00 p.m. – U15 Girls – Winnipeg Phoenix FC vs. TRI-S – RCSC

12:00 p.m. – U15 Girls – Winnipeg South End United vs. St Charles Force – RCSC

Monday, August 21st

6:00 p.m. – U15 Boys – Bonivital SC vs. TBD – Shaughnessy Park

6:00 p.m. – U15 Boys – FC Northwest vs. TBD – RCSC

Wednesday, August 23rd

6:00 p.m. – U15 Girls – Bonivital SC vs. TBD – RCSC

All Provincial Championship Competition champions will qualify to compete at the National Club Championships organized by the Canadian Soccer Association. The Western Masters Club Championships will be held in Edmonton, Alberta from September 22-24. The 2017 Toyota National Championships will take place in three locations: Surrey, British Columbia for the Men’s Challenge Trophy and Women’s Jubilee Trophy; Fredericton, New Brunswick for the U17 Cup; and Calgary, Alberta for the U15 Cup. All Toyota National Championships will be held from October 4-9, 2017.
