Event Returns for the First Time Since 2019

After a two-year hiatus, Football Canada is thrilled to announce the return of its national male tackle football championship event, the Football Canada Cup (FCC). The FCC will be held at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna, British Columbia from July 9^th – 17^th, 2022. Football Canada has released the schedule for the event, which will see eight provincial teams compete for the title of National Champions. The 2019 defending champions are Team Saskatchewan, currently ranked number one in the standings. Play begins at 10:00am (PST) on Monday, July 11^th, with number four Ontario taking on number five Manitoba. The remaining Game Day 1 match-ups will see number two Quebec play number seven New Brunswick at 1:00pm, Nova Scotia challenging number one seed Saskatchewan at 4:00pm, and number three Alberta taking on number six British Columbia at 7:00pm. Game Day 2 of the event is Thursday, July 14^th, with play beginning at 10.00am. Opponents will be determined based on the Game Day 1 outcomes. The final day of the Tournament is Sunday, July 17^th, with the Bronze Medal game scheduled for 4:00pm and the Gold Medal game for 7:00pm.
