Western Hockey League – Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League today announced the Week 15 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2016-17 season.  The weekly rankings of the CHL’s Top-10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

The Regina Pats continue to roll, remaining in first place in the CHL Top 10 for another week. Winners of three consecutive games and having scored six goals or more in each, the Pats are still powering through opponents. The recent addition of veteran forward Wyatt Sloboshan will only strengthen this team down the stretch. This marks the 14th week the Pats have been ranked in the CHL Top 10.

The Everett Silvertips hold down third place in the CHL Top 10 and just got a lot more dangerous on the blueline following a trade to acquire 20-year-old veteran Aaron Irving from the Edmonton Oil Kings. This is the 12th week the Silvertips have been ranked in the CHL Top 10.

The Prince George Cougars round out WHL representation in the CHL Top 10, dropping one slot from sixth to seventh. After dropping a pair of contests in Victoria, the Cougars bounced back with a key win over the Silvertips to close out 2016. This is the 14th week the Cougars have been ranked in the CHL Top 10.

The Medicine Hat Tigers once again earn an honourable mention.
