Skate Canada – TORONTO, ON: IMG today announced its representation of Skate Canada, Canada’s national governing body for figure skating, for corporate marketing and commercial alliances. IMG will work closely with Skate Canada to create new marketing structures and assets as well as secure partners that help promote the sport of figure skating nationally.

With more than 175,000 registered members, Skate Canada produces and operates two major figure-skating events each year: Skate Canada International (part of the ISU Grand Prix), which takes place in October; and the Canadian Tire National Skating Championships in January. Both events generate more than 10 hours of live national television coverage with more than 3 million live viewers. Skate Canada is also responsible for the national team. The national team represents Canada at international events throughout the year and they act as role models to help Skate Canada execute the vision of inspiration all Canadians to embrace the joy of skating.
